Esential Concepts:
1. The majority of technological advancements in the Middle Ages centered on warfare. People made advancements in architecture and machinery for protecting their lands and attacking the lands of other lords.
2. Great advancements were made in architecture for the Catholic Church also. Larger churches, that could hold more people were constantly being improved throughout this time period.
3. The control of the Catholic Church made scientific advancement very difficult.
